Summary:

The verdict here is that the product is awesome and will work perfectly if you have long routes and or wanted to take it on the camping.

CatEye’s Volt 300 is a wonderful headlight that comes with the appropriate price tag. After seeing the quality of it up close,  you won’t be worried if it slipped from hand. This product is exemplifies the sturdiness we have come to expect from CatEye, it also provides enough light to ride bike in town and is best used for commuting in the dark or early evening time.

The best feature of the CatEye HL-EL460RC Volt 300 is that the manufacturer included a replaceable batteries slot which you can access by unscrewing the rear part of the light. After so doing the whole slot and battery come out very easily. As is standard, replacement batteries can be purchased separately and are not included in the package.

This light is a great choice for those who plan on cycling long intercity routes in the evening, and for those who often make their way to the city on weekends for biking. Remember that it’s always best to carry a replacement battery in your cycling pack, and many cyclers can attest that this has been a life saver during camp outs.

There are few points that should be taken care of before you start using CatEye HL-EL460RC Volt 300. Before riding your bike for the first time after installation, make sure that light is securely mounted on the cycle. Make sure that it’s not in a place that can be reached by children, and as mentioned earlier, have an extra battery at all times in case of unexpected battery shutoff. Another thing to keep in mind with this product is that it is waterproof under normal conditions.
